Welcome to Home Ministries. We are a nonprofit rooted in community care. Everything we do is offered freely—from haircuts and hygiene support to presence, conversation, and love. We want you to know exactly where we stand.

1. Voluntary Participation

All services, support, and interactions provided by Home Ministries are completely voluntary.
No one is ever required to participate, and no one is ever turned away based on ability to give or receive.

2. No Fees, No Charges

We do not charge for any services or goods.
Haircuts, hygiene, outreach, and presence are all provided freely as acts of care and dignity.

3. Donations Are Voluntary

If you choose to give, know this:

  • All donations are completely voluntary.

  • Donations will never impact the quality, availability, or frequency of services.

  • We are not selling anything. We are building something—together.

We may suggest ways to help (financially or otherwise), but no one is ever obligated to give.

4. Community Expectations

We serve a wide range of people from many walks of life.
We ask all participants, volunteers, and visitors to show respect for one another and the spaces we gather in.
We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave an event or interaction if they are compromising the safety, dignity, or peace of others.

5. Online Use

By visiting our website or using any online forms or links, you agree to:

  • Use this site respectfully

  • Not misuse or interfere with our ability to serve the community

  • Understand that anything shared through contact forms may be seen by team members for the purpose of care or coordination

We do not sell or share your data. Read our Privacy Policy for more details.

6. Not Medical, Legal, or Therapeutic Advice

We offer care, presence, and support—but we are not licensed counselors, doctors, or attorneys.
Nothing offered by Home Ministries—online or in person—should be taken as legal, medical, or mental health advice.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as our work grows or our structure changes.
We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do. You are welcome to check back anytime.

Donor Disclosure

We believe generosity should never come with strings attached.
At Home Ministries, all donations are entirely voluntary.

We do not charge for any services or goods. Haircuts, hygiene support, and all offerings are provided freely, with no expectation of payment. Your donation supports the continuation and expansion of this work—but it does not entitle you to goods or services in return.

Donations are non-refundable. By giving, you acknowledge that your contribution is a gift made without condition or expectation of benefit.

If you have questions about how donations are used, feel free to reach out. We believe in transparency and welcome the conversation.

Liability & Participation Waiver

All participation in services provided by Home Ministries is voluntary.

By accepting a haircut, hygiene service, or any other support we offer, you acknowledge that you are choosing to participate freely. You agree to hold Home Ministries, its volunteers, and partners harmless from any claims, liabilities, or damages resulting from your participation.

We do our best to provide safe, respectful, and high-quality care. That said, you understand that we are a grassroots ministry—not a licensed medical provider or regulated facility—and you accept services as they are, given in goodwill and without guarantees.

We welcome everyone with open arms, but each person is responsible for their own choices, behavior, and personal well-being during any interaction with Home Ministries.

Media Use Policy

We may take photos or videos during events, services, or community gatherings for the purpose of documenting and sharing the work of Home Ministries. These images may be used on our website, social media, printed materials, or other platforms to tell the story of what we’re building together.

We aim to protect the dignity and safety of everyone we serve. We never use names without permission, and if you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, just let us know—no questions asked.

We believe every person’s story is sacred. Any media captured is used with the intention to honor, not exploit.

Disclaimer

Home Ministries provides all goods, services, and support freely and in good faith. We do not charge for haircuts, hygiene services, or any other care we offer. No service is ever conditional upon a donation.

Participation in any Home Ministries offering is entirely voluntary. We are not a licensed healthcare provider, housing authority, or government agency. We do not offer legal, medical, or financial advice.

We ask all participants, volunteers, and supporters to conduct themselves with mutual respect and kindness. We reserve the right to remove or restrict anyone from participating in our services or spaces if their behavior poses a threat to the safety or dignity of others.

Any stories or testimonials shared through our website, events, or social media are done with permission and may be used to raise awareness or promote our mission. We never share identifying information without consent.

In the event of a medical or safety emergency, we will do our best to respond with compassion and urgency, but we are not equipped to provide professional crisis intervention. When necessary, we may refer individuals to outside services or contact emergency personnel.

Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to receive services or participate in any Home Ministries events unless prior written permission is provided. We do not knowingly collect information from children without appropriate consent.

By choosing to engage with Home Ministries in any capacity, you understand and agree that all participation is rooted in mutual respect, voluntary care, and community trust. You also agree that Home Ministries, its volunteers, partners, and affiliates are not liable for any injury, loss, or damages that may occur during participation in our services or events.

Assumption of Risk

By receiving services or participating in any activity with Home Ministries, you acknowledge that these services are provided in non-traditional settings—including outdoor locations, mobile units, and community spaces—and that some inherent risks may be present.

You understand and accept responsibility for your personal well-being during your time with us. While we do our best to ensure a safe and caring environment, you agree that Home Ministries, its volunteers, and affiliated partners are not liable for any injury, illness, or discomfort that may arise.

Your trust is sacred to us, and we will always do our best to honor it.
